The re-imagined life of Hugo's tragic "hunchback" ... by comedy troupe Broken Lizard: here, Quasimodo (Steve Lemme) invents the best torture device in the land, is asked by King Guy (Jay Chandrasekhar) to kill Pope Corneliu (Paul Soter) and then vice versa but winds up in the crosshairs of both of them ... and then falls in love with Queen Catherine (Adrianne Palicki), who has a thing for blood relatives with physical deformities.  It doesn't help that they're in the same territory as the Monty Python guys (who loved medieval jokes) and Drunk History, and their "Dad Humor" is incredibly corny ... plus, going after religious types for being hypocrites is low-hanging fruit.  I've seen thirty second clips by nonprofessionals on Instagram, TikTok and even the (currently defunct) video hosting service Vine that are funnier than anything they can come up with ... with the exception of the testicle gag, which I did laugh at.  You'll probably just wince, which is what the French novelist and politician might have done.
