In Senegal, Ada (Mame Bineta Sane) is engaged to Omar but is only in love with Souleiman (Traore), except one day she's told that Souleiman disappeared "into the sea" with several other people.  What begins as a 'traditional' love triangle - Ada plays difficult on her wedding night - then, for whatever reason, morphs into several different movies at once - zombie women (and men) pop up to harass a wealthy industrialist, a police procedural goes underway except the chief inspector looks like he has the flu - with absolutely none of it coming together in a remotely satisfactory way (I'm guessing the ending is part of Ada's imagination).  It's one thing to be playfully abstract (Lucrecia Martel is a good example of this) and another to negate your movie's impact by not having a cohesive vision.
