Wonderwall

Director: Joe Massot
Year Released: 1968
Rating: 1.0

A bookish, solitary scientist develops a crush on his next door neighbor (the lovely Jane Birkin), so he peeps on her via holes in the brick wall separating their apartments. One-dimensional story lacks any kind of tangible drama, and the hipsters versus the squares setup is a familiar one for the era - 1968's I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! took place around swinging L.A.; this is swinging London. George Harrison's score is the only valuable element in this, but as far as "Wonderwall"s are concerned, I much prefer Noel Gallagher's.
