Two for the Money

Director: D.J. Caruso
Year Released: 2005
Rating: 0.5

Super shifty "sports analyst" Al Pacino hires country boy/former football player Matthew McConaughey to provide 'accurate' sports picks for degenerate gamblers in this incredibly weak retread of Oliver Stone's Wall Street. The predictability and moronic storyline are actually not the worst parts of the movie - that dubious distinction belongs to both the cringe-worthy dialogue and the way Caruso allows Pacino to showboat the way only Pacino can (of all actors, he's one you want to keep in line). Lacks humor, depth, intelligence, etc. and falls just shy of offending me with its incompetence.
