Lisa (Liliane Amuat) is moving into a new apartment with the help of her mother and a few other people, and her former roommate Mara (Henriette Confurius) isn't happy about it ... or about anything else, for that matter (she also has herpes).  If you bend your mind you might be able to read this as being about the difficulty of residing in such close proximity with so many people, but in truth it's an overdose of absurd behavior and dumb symbolism: the characters stare at each other and say preposterous things, and if it was a teensy bit funnier it could have been a successful parody of what many associate with "arthouse cinema."  I just like to think it's a movie about people with brain damage forced to speak to each other - I mean, why else pour coffee on a dog?  Because it was thirsty, of course! (Cue the German laugh track.)
