Rating: 1.5

A sheltered, immature 23-year-old (Ariane Labed) battles with discomfort over sexual issues (she's a virgin, she doesn't know how to kiss) while poor old Dad, while very supportive, is dying of some unnamed disease. While stylistically similar to (the considerably superior) Dogtooth (directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who coincidentally has a role in this as Man with Cock), it's (considerably) more flimsy, failing to work as either a depiction of arrested adolescence or critique of an oppressive society. All of the principal characters in this seem to exist in their own universe, and those nifty pop songs by the group Suicide don't add much texture to the abundance of master shots.
